My Opinions
General, C.V and Job Application
In my opinion, I think that the Plump Duck was a great success. And in more ways than one. I think that the main idea of the Plump Duck was for our class to get a hands on experience of a job. Also to have a fun time learning about things that have a purpose. Like how we wrote a C.V and Job Application(s) for an actual purpose, to receive a job at the café we created and to follow through the correct expectations for that position.
Name and Logo
Personally, I don't like the name or the logom, I think that it is a copy of last years café. I also think that the logo looks really weird and could of been improved a lot. The Plump Duck Café lettering was difficult to read because it was all scrunched up and squished together. So I think that the logo and name could haven been a lot better.
Food Servey
I think that the food servey was helpful with the final decision of the menu. It also made sure that people would buy the food. I think that if we put more opportunites into the survey, we would of had a more accurate result.
Buisness Card
My buisness card was fun to make and looks really good. It was interesting and a good experience to learn how to write and what the format was. The only thing is that on our buisness cards we didn't know what job we had the so it was kind of pointless to make it for the café when there wasn't any café information on it.
Food Prep
I think that we were really organised about preparing the food prior to the café. All the Thursdays after school really paid off at the time. The kitchen was always a bit too frantic on the nights but it was still rather good.
Uniform
I think that the uniforms were really cool. The special print on the back made them even better. The only trouble that we had was the receptionists dresses. They were too itchy to wear so we just cancelled them alt the last moment.
Set Out and Decoration
I think that the layout of the café worked really well and it looked really effective. Also all the decorations on the walls looked really good. The tables were set well too and nice and neat.
